Lock and key

To add onto my last response on lock and key, Ruby is really not handeling all of the information that Cora had told her well. After Cora had told her that their mother had lied to her and kept secrets from her the entire time it was hard for Ruby to take that in. She never knew that Cora was always sending her letters and invitations to her invents and tryin to track down Ruby any way that she could. Ruby had to figure it out herself that her mother would always change the addresses she wrote down on schools so that Cora couldn't find her. So the truth really is that although Ruby's family is messed up as a whole, there may be something even bigger than that. And I mean a big issue that is between Cora and their mother.
The author still hasn't explained to me as a reader, what the true reason was for Ruby's mother disappearing. So that still remains uncalled for. But the reason why I say Ruby isn't taking this information well is because right after Cora and Ruby had that conversation it was time for Ruby to go off to school. And with any teen it might be a little challenging for some to have to go to school with a bung of drama that you have just heard at home and expect to keep yourself contained when really, you can't. So what did Ruby do? She skipped school and decided to get high and drink. And in the process of her innermost vulnerability she was yet saved again by Nate when she passed out in the middle of the woods. And between that time things did get a little rough when Nate did eventually bring her home.

  1. The story is very interesting even thought you really explain a lot on what she felt or could have done. You should have expand on the on the conversation the two characters had,but I understand that it a add on to another response, still you can put more information about what you read through this week. overall its ok, i know you can do better.
